Handicap International do amazing work in some of the planet’s most challenging areas. From the DRC to Syria, Haiti to Cambodia, they work tirelessly alongside disabled and vulnerable people to help meet their basic needs, improve their living conditions and promote respect for their dignity and fundamental rights.
In 1992 they helped set up the International Campaign to Ban Landmines – for which they were awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 1997.
And we’ve just helped them raise £500,000 in their first UK Aid match-funding campaign.
Our work helped them navigate the joint venture nature of such fundraising efforts, allowing Handicap International and UK Aid to effectively support the campaign premise of Every Step Counts.
